So this is my first attempt at a blog post. I have been highly impressed by others' blogs for quite some time and am finally giving it a go. Perhaps this will be the answer to my inability to keep in contact with others and keep a journal....
Right now I am having a chuckle at my two boys' antics - Hayden has just this second appeared from the gap between the couch and the wall. Now Lachlan has followed and discovered that he too can fit through the same hole. And so begins the game of going through the hole, running around the couch and repeating the process over and over until someone gets hurt! or they get bored. This happens surprisingly quickly and Lachlan is now riding a horse (broom) around the house, talking to it and patting it. (I'm refusing to buy any toys for Christmas this year - why bother when the utensil drawer and broom gets more useage than the playroom?!) Hayden has moved onto making himself dizzy - spinning around and around and laughing till he falls over. And this is all before 8.03am....... Who says motherhood is boring? I've got 4 loads of washing on the line from yesterday to bring in, another load is in the machine, there's a thin layer of dust upon all surfaces and Hayden has just come running out with the toilet brush...... charming!! Perhaps this blog thing is not such a good idea.........
